Vantage Compute, an Oregon-based AI infrastructure company, has been selected for Cohort 2 of the Oregon AI Accelerator, a highly selective program built to take Oregon's most promising AI companies from breakthrough technology to market-ready business.
The program is presented by Google, in partnership with the Technology Association of Oregon, the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, Portland State University, Oregon State University, Oregon Health & Science University, Business Oregon, and the Metro Region Innovation Hub.
"Secure AI inference, training, and simulation at any scale, cost, cloud, or bare metal without limits," said founder and CEO James Beedy. "Companies have more compute than ever, and they're still starved for usable capacity. We built Vantage to close that gap."
Vantage draws on a lifetime of experience in building supercomputing infrastructure, including a design partnership with Volkswagen AG and engaging more than 75 organizations across academia, enterprise, and government along the way. The company works with premier research institutions on quantum computing and bleeding-edge computational resources, global AI and HPC consultancies serving enterprise and government, and is a member of the NVIDIA Inception program.
Cohort 2 includes 14 early-stage AI companies and offers direct mentorship from industry experts, access to the region's research and engineering community, and a path to investor readiness, culminating in a Demo Day before regional investors on December 17.
"We've been building this for years with a world-class enterprise design partner," Beedy said. "This accelerator is us finally coming up for air, and we couldn't be more excited to do it here in Oregon, with this cohort."
